An outcome of a photo session in one of the city parks. Everything was so spontaneous. She came by and asked if I would like to take a picture of her. Her name was Manon. She was shy and beautiful, unlike many otheres who lost their childhood in routine of everyday.

Idea of "My Youth is Stolen" series came to me very spontaneously. I was just listening to Katatonia's "The Future of Speech" for 1,000,000 time when suddenly got an idea of making something in that direction. Then I happened to think about Dagmar (the girl on the picture). I think she's very talented and I'm really happy, that it shows on the pictures I made.

Last week I went to the zoo in the city of Emmen (Netherlands). I photograph animals seldom, but what I felt when I saw those two creatures (they were elks, in fact) inspired me to make this series. I included it in my "Delusional Insanity Abstractions" project.
